Current Partnership Opportunities

Infotech Workforce Development Initiative. The Infotech Workforce Development Initiative (IWDI) is a countywide effort launched by Workforce Alliance to identify and meet the workforce and economic development needs of Palm Beach County’s information technology industry. The goal of the IWDI is to support, strengthen, and grow the information technology sector by:

• Engaging businesses to provide insights regarding  best practices, industry trends and training needs
• Working with educational institutions to align training programs with industry demands
• Collaborating with all stakeholders to attract public/private investment in the local IT industry through competitive grant-seeking, fundraising, and economic development

The IWDI is comprised of representatives from business, industry, education, and community organizations. Key IWDI partners include IBM, FPL, 3C Interactive, Champion Solutions, Constant Contact, Tyco, the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, the Business Development Board, Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College and other local businesses.
