Congressional Visit (Sept. 29, 2011)

U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) and Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) visited the Workforce Alliance Career Center in Belle Glade, Fla., on Sept. 29, 2011, to meet with area business owners and discuss local and national job creation efforts. During a tour of the facility, the congressmen spoke with job seekers and staff members about the specialized services that Workforce Alliance provides at the center.

“Workforce Alliance is one of the best job placement services in the nation and I encourage people to take advantage of that,” Rep. Hastings said during his visit.
